Well seeing as I'm going home for a while, thought I'd better get in some serious beach time to remind myself of why I'd better get back quick. This is a pic of moi relaxing in the sand whilst waiting for a wizened underling to bring me my chicken and rice....Ahhh.
Some beach sellers are really persistent. The fact that this group of tourists are all swimming in the sea doesnt put this shawl seller off, she mearly shows her wares and waits patiently until they come ashore. No they didnt buy anything.
A seven headed snake encircles a Buddha statue atop a temple in Khao Tao. She has a remarkably calm expression for one about to be devoured by such a creature! Of course I may have it all wrong and the snake may be protecting her? Yes I think that's probably it.
A small fishing inlet near Hua Hin, where boats are moored up during the day before going out at night. I don't know why they only fish at night? Maby the fish like Thai men sleep during the day!
These guys are a fair way up, coating this building with buffalo crap or something similar. Just take a look at their high tech scaffolding! Damned twigs man, held together with grass! Whats all that about, its a good job your average Thai only weighs around 45 kgs fully clothed. I tiptoed past it fearful that a heavy foot fall would constitute mass murder.
Not a Thai version of the 'jonestown suicides' but temple ladies having an afternoon siesta after some furious worshipping! White clothing is de rigeur as the chosen one demands it.
